Keith Colclough - Bass

Keith Colclough is currently pursuing a MM/DMA in Voice at UCSB with a Chancellor's Fellowship, studying with baritone Paul Sahuc. This summer, Keith performed the role of Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Aspen Opera Theatre Center and attended Songfest in Malibu as a Marc and Eva Stern Fellow. He graduated magna cum laude in 2008 with a BA from Pepperdine University and subsequently studied at the Mannheim Musikhochschule as a Student Fulbright Scholar. While there he performed with the Opernschule and studied with Rudolf Piernay. His past roles include Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte, Reverend Hale in Robert Ward's The Crucible, Kezal in The Bartered Bride, and Applegate in Damn Yankees. This Spring Keith will perform the role of Grandpa Moss in The Tender Land with the UCSB Voice department. He also works as a piano tuner.


OperaArts is a non profit organization whose goals are to present quality musical performances, with emphasis on Opera and operetta, to the community at large, with emphasis on our youth and senior citizens. OperaArts was created from the collaborative dreams and efforts of a small consortium of community residents and opera aficionados.

OperaArts will engage in bringing high quality visual arts and art experiences to accompany its musical events whenever possible.

OperaArts will endeavor to bring new musical experiences to all who want to experience the incredible changes that music brings to our lives. We will give the public fine Opera, operetta, classic Broadway, dance, art and all other artistic experiences that help create a happy society.
